A Grand Haven woman is behind bars in Muskegon County, accused of embezzling more than $400,000 from a Norton Shores company.

A classic small business fraud case in hindsight… multi-year crime by AP clerk, discovered after she was laid-off, changed names on checks to pay her own bills.  The last line of the story says it all… “This is the kind of stealing that will put places out of business.”
