What a great opportunity to see AuditMyBooks Analyzer in action with a real file.  It was quite illuminating and now I can feel comfortable recommending this to others; which I will!

-Val Barschaw ~ ProAdvisor, Bookkeeping Made Fun & Silver Member NAN

As a small business owner I a wear a lot of “hats”. Which leaves me to rely on others to keep up with my books. This Analyzer gives me peace of mind for my year end reports to give me the correct information for my business.

-Rachel Valdez ~ Atlas Fire & Alarm

I was happy to see that there were no errors.

-Tim Clark ~ 360 Asset Protection, Inc.

I worry about simple errors more than fraud. We run a small construction company and sometimes things get a little hectic and simple mistakes can be made. Using AuditMyBooks allows me to check for errors quickly and effectively without taking my time away from other duties that need to be fulfilled.

-Brandon Jansen ~ JB&R, LLC

AuditMyBooks has been a great tool to share with clients. I have been able to help various clients analyze their books. One client was worried that fraud had occurred and asked us to perform a scan of their books as soon as the suspicious party left their company. We were able to find several suspicious transactions that the clients were able to easily locate and analyze. The scan was much easier and more efficient than what we have done in the past to look for errors and fraud. I look forward to using it again.

It is great to have your data automatically pulled in and reviewed with an auditors mindset.

I am a CPA and a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner). I was part of the Beta testing progam. I had a QB file that I knew was infested with Fraud. (The client is suing the former bookkeeper). The first time I ran the file through AuditMyBooks, I did not get any indication of Fraud. I thought how could that be. After working with the Developers, we realized what the problem was. We needed to expand the time frame, because the Fraud was more than a year old. I ran the file through AuditMyBooks again, and this time it lit up like a Christmas tree – there were so many indicators of Fraud. As a result of this, I have great confidence in the program.

-Dennis Thompson~ CPA, ProAdvisor, CFE

It was reassuring to do a quick scan and see no major problems.

-Caren Schwartz ~ ProAdvisor ~ Time & Cents Consultants, LLC

I speak to Accountants and ProAdvisors often about internal control processes and procedures. The fraud numbers for small businesses are staggering but what is even more frightening to me is the impact of unintentional errors that happen in QuickBooks files. I like the easy to understand dashboard that highlights the areas that deserve investigation. And I like that you can “teach” it what is normal for your business by setting the rules. I believe that there cannot be too many checks and balances as it relates to accounting and this “anti-virus” type approach can definitely help. I have recommended this product to my clients and have used it on my own company too.

-Bonnie Nagayama ~ CPA, ProAdvisor, Intuit Solution Provider ~ McWilliams & Associates, Inc.

I have only been using the trial version for a few days, but so far, so good.

-Rose Miller ~ Sunflower Rents

I think that it is a very valuable tool to not only be able to detect fraud or potential fraud but it helps you look at things that you might not have seen in reviewing your books previously. I think that every small business should have AuditMyBooks as a tool that is added on to QuickBooks. This is true whether you are a sole proprietor or you have a large accounting staff.

-Robin Hall ~ ProAdvisor, Intuit Solution Provider ~ VARC Solutions (2009 Intuit Solution Provider of the Year)

I discovered a few duplicate checks, but for the most part it served the purpose of giving me reassurance that the books are in order.

-James Daemicke ~ CPA, ProAdvisor, Intuit Solution Provider ~ Daemicke Financial Group

I was able to pick up items I may not have in reviewing the file.  Excessive checks written to cash is an example.

-Leta Leighton ~ CPA, ProAdvisor ~ Leighton & Longtin CPA

I was happy to find out there were no duplicate payment errors.

-Cyndy Ramey ~ CPA, ProAdvisor ~ Bergman, Himmel, Goetz & Prebul Inc.

I specialize in nonprofit accounting and handle several different nonprofit books. This is an excellent opportunity to audit the books BEFORE the auditors come in for the audit.

-Linda Sertich ~ ProAdvisor ~ The Nonprofit Bookkeeper

I like the idea of using Analyzer for giving a file an initial once-over.  It will let my staff know where to begin looking for things that need to be corrected.  If this were a bookkeeping client, for example, I would need to fix the vendor contact information problem.

-Marcus Bowman ~ CPA, ProAdvisor ~ Ideal Company

I have not identified any problems yet, and that makes me happy!

-Bob Sommer ~ Changing Hands Bookstore

When I use analyzer I am reminded that it is the clerical errors that cause the $$ leaks.

-Michael Maynard ~ CPA ~ American Bullion

We are a small municipality, not many transactions. Our books seem to be okay.

-Christine Tsaklas ~ Borough of Clarks Summit

It [Analyzer] looks like an extremely useful tool. I assist many small business and organizations with their bookkeeping and accounting needs, and AuditMyBooks would be very useful to help find mistakes and other possible problems.

-Matthew Toenjes ~ ProAdvisor ~ Matthew’s Accounting Services LLC

I used AuditMyBooks for two clients I have in QuickBooks. It was pretty good.  In fact, I found an error of a duplicate entry and fixed it. Although they didn’t have the same check number AuditMyBooks noted these were duplicate which in fact they were. Some others were not, but I was able to quickly review them just in case and clear them. As such, I consider AuditMyBooks to be a nice application to use with Quickbooks.

AuditMyBooks helps me figure out what I am getting into before I work with a client.

I think this is a great program!  I wish it had been around when my father’s company lost $80,000 in 8 months to the Accounts Payable employee!  I immediately called my accountant after trying it and told her she should use it on all of her clients.

AuditMyBooks is a great way to set my firm apart from other outsourced CFO Services.

Although most of my clients cannot justify the cost of an audit, they still need in depth analysis for protection from errors and fraud.  We are building a new practice area that includes AuditMyBooks plus recurring professional services at a price point that makes sense for our clients.

-Chris McCraw, CPA

There is not enough time to tell you about all the fraud cases that I have seen in 12 years.

-CFE in Oklahoma

The first time I used AuditMyBooks, I was really hoping to find something wrong.  I had to stop in think about that though.  In this case, a clean report is like a good visit with the dentist.  It’s nice to know that our books look as good as our designs.  The peace of mind we get from AuditMyBooks is well worth the price.

-Tim Brammer, The Foundry Agency

The money is mine and if something is going on then I want to know before my banker knows.

-Business Owner in Alabama

As a Certified Fraud Examiner, I know the devil is in the details.  Audits are common at larger firms, but small companies just cannot justify the cost.  Offering a service that analyzes all financial transactions without breaking the bank is important to me and my clients.

-Lisa Guerra, CPA, CFE, Certified ProAdvisor, Atlanta Professional Accounting

I hate it when Steve [the boss] finds the mistakes before I do.

-Part time Bookkeeper in Georgia
